11/06 York Island: B From Bunce Beach, paddle out into Pine Island Sound to York Island for lunch and return. 8:30 a.m. launch, bring plenty of water and a lunch. Be prepared for some open crossings. Details: Pat Dobbels 277-1075.

11/15 Paddle Club Meeting: CIn Founder's Hall at the United Methodist Church near Broadway in Estero at 7:30 p.m. Details: Mike Shaw 860-1804.


11/25 & 26 Everglades Camping: N White Horse Key. Launch from Goodland at 9:00 a.m. (parking fee). Bring plenty of water and everything else you will need for two days. Some open crossings, sprayskirts required. Please call for reservations, directions and more details: Dave Whitford 598-9787.

  TRIP RATINGS

   Shorter & Easier Trips, suitable for beginners.
   Longer, more challenging but still suitable for beginners.
   Most demanding, often requiring physical endurance, paddling skill and a suitable boat.
   Extreme Paddling, Open Water, Every Man for Himself - Do NOT try this without a reality check.
  Social function, everyone welcome.

  The club has developed a "list server" for members to receive updated information about trips and activities. Just register with the SWFLPC Yahoo Groups on our home page to be added to the list.
